   We read in Revelation 1:8
I am the Alpha[Alef] and the Omega [Taw], the Beginning and the Ending,
saysthe One who is, and who was, and who is coming, the Almighty.

Revelation 1:1 tells us that The Revelation comes from The Messiah, this continues to be confirmed
right through to verse7 which reads:-
 "See, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even the ones who pierced Him, and all
the tribes of the earth shall mourn because of Him." Yea, Awmein.

So the one referred to in verse 8 as “and who is coming” is the Messiah - the Taw- The Ending.
This same Messiah is also said to be “the Beginning”, “who was”, “The Alef”.
Can we see in Scripture the evidence for this . Let us first look at Yohanan (John)1.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.
John 1:2 He was in the beginning with Elohim.
John 1:3 All came to be through Him, and without Him not even one came to be that came to be.
John 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men;

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us. And we saw His esteem,
esteem as of an only broughtforth of a Father, complete in favour and truth.

Is there a second New Testament Witness to this? Let us read what the Apostle Paul had to say.
Ibrim (Hebrews)1
Heb 1:1 Elohim, having of old spoken in many portions and many ways to the fathers by the prophets;
Heb 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by the Son, whom He has appointed heir of all; through whom
also He made the ages;
Heb 1:3 who being the brightness of the esteem, and the exact representation  of His substance, and
 sustaining all by the Word of His power, having made a cleansing of our sins through Himself, sat down at
 the right hand of the Greatness on high, (see Psa. 110)
Heb 1:4  having become so much better than the messengers, as He has inherited
a more excellent Name than they.
 

So here we see that the Apostle Paul confirms that the Messiah is the one through whom all came into
 existence and that the Son has inherited the Name of the Father.

All true prophecy has it’s beginning in Bereshith (Genesis), so can we find the evidence of
Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha[Alef] and the Omega [Taw], the Beginning and the Ending,
saysthe One who is, and who was, and who is coming, the Almighty”, in the pages
of Bereshith (Genesis). If you only have an English translation this may not be so easy to do.
However right there in Bereshith (Genesis)1:1, we have the answer IF we look to the Hebrew.
Look at the image below and you will see that there is an Alef and Taw that have not been translated. The reason that the Alef and Taw have not been translated is most likely because it does not
“mean” anything in English. To translate it to English we would have to say
“In the beginning Elohim AZ created the heavens and the earth.”
Which does not make much sense - so it has been ignored by translators. But it is right
here in Bereshith 1:1 that we see the evidence of Elohim Alef Taw who created the heavens and the earth,
The Hebrew Alphabet being the building blocks of all creation through The WORD.
The first letter being the Alef and the final letter being the Taw, we see that
when Elohim Alef Taw created the heavens and the earth everything that was, was complete
from beginning to end. Even the word Alphabet comes from Alef & Bet the first two letters of the
Hebrew alphabet and together they make the word ‘AB’ the Hebrew word for FATHER.
The Word of the Father having created of All Creation.

Yohanan(John) 1:14
And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us. And we saw His esteem,
esteem as of an only broughtforth of a Father, complete in favour and truth.

Maybe now we can see a little more clearly that the Son has indeed inherited
the Name of the Father as the Apostle Paul declared in Ibrim(Hebrews)1:4
Heb 1:4  having become so much better than the messengers, as He has inherited
a more excellent Name than they.

Phi 2:8  and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, having become obedient until death, even
 death of a stake.
Phi 2:9  Because of this also Elohim highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name,

John 5:43
I have come in the name of My Father, and you do not receive Me. If another comes in his own name,
him you would receive.


Mat 23:39
For I say to you, In no way shall you see Me from now on, until you say, "Blessed is He who is coming
in the Name of “. (Psa. 118:26 )


Yehezqel34:23
“And I shall raise up over them one shepherd, My servant Alef Taw Dawid,
and he shall feed them. He shall feed them and be their shepherd.”
